Colonel a 19-year-old British lad came to Karnataka and developed an unbreakable bond with its rich culture. He soon gained recognition as one of the pioneers of coffee plantations and found a home away from home. The main residence of the estate was the former home of Col. Colonel and his family. Not to mention, the furniture, chandeliers and artefacts in the mansion are the antiques preserved and passed on over through generations.
