The hosts were really nice and friendly and made a huge difference to our stay with their hospitality. The rooms are well-maintained, clean and quiet well done – we had no complaints whatsoever.  There’s also a lot of space outside for walks and outdoor seating. It makes for a quiet, do-nothing getaway.

The homestay lies only 10 minutes from the beach and makes for a nice place to stay if you’re travelling with family. The rooms are spacious. The host had bought the property recently so while it was new and clean, it was not set up well enough for guests. He was, however, very kind, heard our feedback and promised to slowly improve on the quality.

The Homestay is located just 5 minutes from the beach which makes it an ideal stay option. If you’re looking for simple, comfortable rooms, this is a good choice. The in-house restaurants serves some delicious local cuisine and their sea food curries are worth trying!

It was an idyllic stay. Apart from being aptly located (not amidst commotion, not farther away from civilisation), this homestay will definitely continue to be my choice of stay in Darjeeling. My hosts, whom I fondly referred to as ‘uncle and aunty’, were very hospitable. I suppose they made a lot of difference to my experience as did the clean room.

I was travelling by myself and safety was of key importance to me. Uncle was very generous with his guidance and directions. Aunty’s homemade food helped me keep fit for the trek the following days. Apart from the home being very clean, it was cosy and the view from my room (especially at night) was surreal. With the lights from Darjeeling twinkling from my window, I was often torn between an undisturbed sleep and wonderful waking hours.

Will I go back? Without a doubt. I can’t recall a thing that I don’t want to re-live. If you’re travelling to Darjeeling and don’t stay in this homestay, you will be challenging the mountain love quite strongly.

It is located only 5 mins walk away from Kihim beach and is a huge property. There’s a spacious parking area, lawn and restaurant. The rooms are spacious but can be kept more clean and maintained better. Non-veg delicacies that are served are a must try!

Walking distance from Nagaon beach, this property is easily accessible. I had the best homestay experience here during my stay. The caretakers are very helpful and ensured that my stay was comfortable. The rooms are well equipped and clean. The property is done well in a tranquil atmosphere and I would definitely go back there again.

Lying close to Mandwa beach, it offers a typical farm stay experience. I would recommend this place for a weekend getaway with the family. The entire property is surrounded by greenery. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The delicious home cooked local meal that is served in the restaurant is a must try!

As the name suggests, this is a perfect option for those who want to stay in luxury. The suites are beautiful and provide a lot of privacy to guests. There’s a lot of greenery around. The Beach is only 2 minutes away and since Diveagar is only 3-4 hour drive away from Mumbai, you can getaway even if it’s not a long weekend.

The best property in its area. It was a delight to know that they’ve had guests like the Ambassador of Sweden stay with them. It lies only 5 minutes from the beach and I enjoyed spending my evening there. Hosts are very welcoming and focus on giving the visitor a local experience.

This is a very good homestay for a rather low price. Hosts are very friendly and enjoy local art and culture and you might get to see some yourself if you are lucky. We enjoyed listening to their son sing and practice his harmonium. Many of the guests here are from europe as the rooms are very clean. It’s a great place to try out local home cooked food as well.
